Funny thing about building a campervan…

One of the main reasons I converted my Sienna was because I was tired of dealing with traditional tents. 😅

Setting them up, packing them away wet after rain, drying everything at home… not exactly my favorite part of camping.

Now I can pull into a spot, relax, cook, and sleep without any complicated setup.

But I discovered something interesting…

Not all tents are bad.

I actually still carry 3 specialized pop-up tents that make my camper setup even better:

☀️ A beach tent – instant shade in seconds
🚿 A shower tent – private shower/changing room
🚲 A storage tent – extra space for longer campground stays

They give me extra comfort without bringing back the old “tent camping problems.”

Sometimes the trick isn’t removing all gear – it’s choosing the right gear.
